Like a stubborn barn cat, but heat is its kryptonite

I'm 5'0" and these headbands fit my tiny head better than any hat ever has. They remind me of the stray cat we had as a kid—snug, loyal, never budges. But just like that cat, heat makes them act up. I wore the black one while running errands in 95°F and it soaked through with sweat in fifteen minutes. Smelled like a wet sheep by the time I got home. The rust and olive are better for summer because they don't show stains as much. I own all three colors now—the black is my winter workhorse, the olive is my hiking buddy, and the rust is the one I lend to friends because I don't care if it gets lost. For the price, they're worth it if you manage expectations. Just don't expect them to breathe in a heatwave.

I've had this exactly 24 hours. The listing said 'Rust' but it's practically burnt orange. I love it, honestly. Feels like it's already broken in. Don't care what anyone says—this is the best impulse buy I've made all year.

The product itself is solid—thick knit, stays put. But why can't they just wrap it in brown paper like they used to? This is a cardboard box with twist ties and a plastic sleeve. My wife said I was being dramatic, but I know a good package when I see one. Anyway, she loves the black one.
