I own four of these now. One for each season and one that lives in my car. The Sage Dusk color is my favorite—it's this weird greenish-gray that changes in different light, like a good vinyl pressing that reveals hidden frequencies. The fabric has a subtle texture, almost like a crosshatch pattern you can feel but barely see. It's not stiff like some technical jackets. It breathes but cuts wind. The cuffs are snug without being tourniquets. I've worn one while digging through crates at record fairs—no fraying after three years. The zipper is smooth, not that grinding sound cheap zippers make. The inside pocket fits a 7-inch single perfectly. The collar stays up when you want it. The whole thing just works. It's the kind of product that makes you forget you're wearing it, like a well-mastered album. Get the Cocoa Ember. Trust me.

So yeah, the jacket looks great and fits fine. But I ordered it for a trip to Montreal and it arrived the day after I got back. The fabric is soft, the color (Cocoa Ember) is exactly as pictured. But the delay meant I had to wear my old patched coat in freezing rain. So one star. The product itself is probably a 4. Just don't need the stress.

At first I was pissed because it made this crinkly noise every time I moved my arms—I record in a walk-in wardrobe and the mic picks up everything. Then I realized I just needed to not move so much. Now I wear it unzipped and it deadens the room reflection perfectly. No more boxy sound. The Ivory Cloud color doesn't show coffee stains either.
